Skoda launches Fabia S2000

Skoda will launch 200 special editions Fabia’s to commemorate its Intercontinental Rally Challenge victory in 2010.

The vRS S2000 is based on the regular vRS, and features a rally inspired paint job and decals with green with white roof and 17” alloy wheels.

Like the vRS, the S2000 is powered by a 1.4 TSI petrol engine, developing 178bhp and is mated to a 7spd dual-clutch gearbox, which works in fully automatic or manual tiptronic modes. With a top speed of 139mph, the car will sprint from 0-62mph in 7.3 seconds.

While prices have not been confirmed, only 20 cars will reach the UK market from January.
